Holiday Gift Guide: Something For Him
I'll be the first to admit that men are difficult to shop for. Even as I write this, I'm unsure of what to buy my husband this holiday, and he's someone who's sartorial preferences I'm very keen on.
However, for the purposes of this blog, he has agreed to be the guinea pig for a few gifts that, if I were a man, I'd give an A+. Here are some Bourbon & Gloss-approved man gifts, vetted by my very own in-house male.
Of all the beard accouterment I've given my husband to try, Beard Guyz Daily Wash and Conditioner are his favorite. They also make an oil and a balm, all reasonably priced. The all-natural products are made from natural oils, conditioning butters, herbal extracts, and vitamins. As for beard balms, he loves Bluebeards Original Beard Saver.
Got a manly man in your life whose tastes go above and beyond the local Bass Pro Shop? Best Made Company makes handsome, well-crafted outdoor styles for the guy who has plenty of opinions.
Now you KNOW I'm not about to let my husband get away without some kind of man-beauty routine. If I work this hard to look good when I'm old, you better believe he will, too. My husband loves Keihl's products. In fact, he's the the one that turned me on to them.
UPDATE! I almost forgot one of the most essential gifts a person can give an audiophile like my husband. If your man is into tunes and wants and excuse to bump up his record collection, definitely gift him the Audio Technica LP120. I gave this to my husband a few years ago and yeah, he's still looking for more excuses to buy records.
