Hi.

The 78 Project: The National Reserve

Friend of Bourbon & Gloss, The 78 Project, has dedicated countless hours to bringing back the sound of the past. With just one microphone, one authentic 1930’s Presto direct-to-acetate disk recorder, and one blank lacquer disc, musicians are given one take to cut a record anywhere they choose.

Here, two of my favorite musicians, Sean Walsh and Roy Williams of The National Reserve, are recorded on the Presto singing Southern Gospel song "Farther Along."

From Roseanne Cash to Reverend John Wilkins, watch more music legends record their 78 Project cut here.

May you holidays be filled with sweet, southern gospel songs. x
